SSR recently had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the China Wood Protection Industry Association, led by Mr. Chongyu Li, for a strategic exchange at our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The visit reflects the growing collaboration between Vietnam and China’s wood industries, particularly in sustainable sourcing, customized manufacturing, and long-term supply chain development.
Strengthening Vietnam-China Wood Industry Collaboration
During the meeting, both sides held comprehensive discussions on strengthening cooperation across the wood value chain. The focus was placed on expanding collaboration in raw material sourcing to secure stable and competitive supply, enhancing OEM/ODM manufacturing to better serve international partners, and developing a more efficient cross-border wood supply chain connecting Vietnam and China. The shared objective is to create a practical and results-driven partnership that supports long-term business growth.
To facilitate SSR’s expansion into the Chinese market, the Association agreed to provide targeted advisory support, particularly in understanding regulatory frameworks, certification requirements, and local business practices. In addition, the Association will support SSR’s participation in major wood industry exhibitions and trade fairs across China, enabling direct engagement with distributors, importers, and industry stakeholders.
