DESCRIPTION
1. Job Purpose
Develop and implement export sales strategies for key markets (USA, EU, Japan, South
Korea, Middle East).
Achieve revenue and profit targets while ensuring sustainable market growth and
compliance with international wood industry standards.
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing export sales team.
2. Key Responsibilities
a. Strategy & Market Development
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Develop business plans for target markets, agents, and distributors.
Participate in international trade fairs and exhibitions to explore new opportunities.
b. Sales & Contracts
Negotiate, sign, and manage international trade contracts.
Manage risks related to international trade (payment terms, exchange rates, shipping, and
legal issues).
Ensure sales revenue, profit margin, and market expansion targets are met.
c. Operations Management
Coordinate with Production, R&D, QA/QC, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and
product quality.
Ensure compliance with international certifications (FSC, CARB, EPA, CE, EUTR).
Manage and optimize B2B/B2C e-commerce channels.
Provide regular business performance reports and cost–profit analysis.
d. Team Management
Recruit, train, and develop the export sales team.
Build KPI systems and performance-based compensation schemes.
Coach team members on product knowledge, international trade practices, and crosscultural communication.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Export-Import, or Marketing.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wood or furniture export; at least 1–2 years in a team
leader or key account management position.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Japanese, Korean, or Chinese is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, international trade practices, and wood industry
certifications (FSC, CARB, EPA, EUTR, CE).
Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Experience using B2B platforms such as Alibaba or Amazon Business is preferred.
