Live Edge Wood Board Manufacturer from Vietnam
Live edge wood boards preserve the natural outline of the tree along one or both sides of the panel, giving the finished surface an organic appearance that cannot be replicated by a conventional straight edge.
SSR develops live edge wood board programs from Vietnam for wholesale distribution and furniture production. Acacia and Monkey Pod options can be developed for countertops, dining tables, desktops, vanity tops and other wood surface applications.

Surface Grade Classification
Grade A
Selected for appearance-focused applications where a cleaner and more consistent surface is required. Natural grain and color variation remain part of the character of the wood.
Grade B
Allows more natural wood characteristics while maintaining a suitable visual surface for furniture, countertops and other exposed applications.
Grade C
Allows stronger natural variation and more visible wood characteristics. It can suit programs where natural appearance, rustic character or price positioning is more important than a highly uniform surface.
Surface grade requirements are subject to approved reference samples and agreed specifications for each wood species. Natural edge appearance will vary between individual boards.
Live Edge Wood Board Manufacturing from Raw Wood to Container Loading

01. Sawmill & Wood Preparation
Selected logs are processed according to the dimensions required for the final live edge program. The cutting stage considers the natural profile of the material so suitable sections can retain the character of the original wood edge before drying and further processing.

02. Kiln Drying & Moisture Control
Wood is kiln dried under controlled conditions before entering the main production stages. Moisture is checked after drying and before assembly because stable moisture content supports flatness and performance in finished live edge wood surfaces.

03. Wood Selection & Board Assembly
Dried wood is selected according to species, grain character, surface grade and the appearance required by the buyer. Suitable pieces are arranged and assembled according to the approved construction while the intended natural-edge profile is maintained.

04. Surface Sanding & Finishing
Finished panels are sanded to reach the required surface smoothness and thickness. The natural edge is prepared without removing the character that defines the product. Boards can remain unfinished or receive an approved oil, UV or PU finish.

05. Inspection, Packing & Container Loading
Each production lot is checked against the approved dimensions, surface requirements and finishing specifications before packing. Packaging can be adapted for wholesale distribution, retail programs or OEM requirements before the boards are secured for export.
The character of a live edge board starts long before the wood reaches the production line.
SSR reviews material origin and applicable documentation before production so buyers can understand where the wood behind their program begins.
