2. Production of bamboo countertop
The bamboo panel is hydraulically pressed from bamboo strips (bamboo slats) that have been processed through stages such as boiling bamboo slats, carbonization to protect bamboo from termites and mold attacks.
The vertical pressed bamboo board is also made the same, but the bamboo laths are arranged vertically and pressed together. Through the stages, the bamboo plywood sheet has a density: 750 kg/m3 with a stable structure. Besides, bamboo products meet certificates such as FSC® (FSC- C134124), SGS, etc. and European Formaldehyde standard.

– Not resistancet to heat
– Not resistant to stain
– Easily get scratched, chipped and dented

+ Cover a PU layer will protect the bamboo board surface better during use.
+ Don’t put hot kitchen gadgets directly on a bamboo countertop. You should use trivets, hot pads, or a cooling rack to avoid scorching the surface.
However, If the surface has scratch, you can renew it by sanding and coating a PU layer.
